Domestic Violence Support
Specialist Domestic Violence Support
At Women’s Wellbeing, we provide specialist support for women who are experiencing or recovering from domestic abuse to a place of safety. Abuse can be physical, emotional, financial, or controlling behaviours, and every woman’s situation is unique. Our service is built on compassion, cultural understanding, and a commitment to helping women move from crisis to confidence.
What Makes Our Support Specialist
- Personalised guidance and safety planning delivered through one-to-one specialist advocacy.
- Safe, women-only spaces where trust can be built and women can speak freely.
- Tailored support that recognises the barriers faced by women in underserved communities, such as language, isolation, or financial hardship.
- Holistic and long-term help, addressing not just emotional recovery but also stability in housing, safety, health, and legal rights, with support offered for as long as it’s needed.
Beyond Crisis: Our Wider Programmes
Alongside immediate support, we also connect women to opportunities that strengthen recovery and independence, including:
- Digital upskilling, building confidence with technology so women can access vital services, manage appointments, and stay connected safely.
- Free SIMs and data access, ensuring women who may be digitally excluded can stay connected, reach support services, and maintain contact with family and friends safely.
- Health and wellbeing activities, from confidence-building workshops to sports programmes, designed to restore self-esteem and aid recovery.
- Pathways into volunteering and employability, giving women the tools to rebuild independence and shape their future.
We’re with you every step of the way , listening, supporting, and helping you move forward at your pace.
